Description

Franz Joseph I gold 100 Corona 1908 MS63 NGC, Kremnitz mint, KM2812, Fr-514. A voluminous selection bursting with fully-bodied mint luster and stellar design features. Struck to commemorate Franz Joseph's 60th Anniversary of Reign, this piece presents highly-attractive, mirrored fields that contain only a few, isolated grazes which are noted in the grade, but do little to detract from its overall strength. The reverse delivers equally handsome color and reflectivity, all of which support the beautifully-artistic "Lady in the Clouds" image. Undeniable in both preservation and appeal, this immense gold type is one of the coveted gold issues from the early 20th century, and this current example hits all the right marks.
