    Description

Holy Roman Empire Schauguldiner struck in 1511, commemorating the marriage of Archduke Maximilian and Maria of Burgundy in 1479, the obverse has a portrait of Maximilian facing right, and the reverse has a portrait of Maria right with the date 1479 below, Vogl. 3, VF-XF with a mount removed at 12 o'clock and minor tooling on the letters ETAT, on the reverse. A rare and lovely example of early HRE coinage.
