    Description

Joseph II gold Ducat 1781-E MS63 NGC, Karlsburg mint, KM1872. A most attractive choice Austrian specimen, produced with such clarity and sharpness rarely seen on these early ducats. NGC notes this example as the sole Karlsburg ducat submitted to them, one decorated in apricot tones and a subdued luster that define the grade.

    Estimate: $1,200 - $1,500.
