Ferdinand I Posthumous Taler ND (after 1564) MS62+ NGC, Hall mint, Dav-8030. A superb example fielding gleaming argent luster that glows between well-defined die-polish lines to produce a spectacular visual effect. The finest example of the type that we have yet seen. Labeled as '1521-64', but thought to have been produced during the reign of Maximilian II, possibly in 1565.From the Cape Coral Collection of European Crowns
Estimate: $3,000 - $4,000.
