    Description

Joseph II gold 1/2 Souverain d'Or 1787-F MS65 NGC, Hall mint, KM35, Herinek-107. A captivating gem specimen with a singular and highly Prooflike appearance. While the coin at first looks slightly hazy in the margins when viewed head-on, close inspection under magnification reveals that this is actually a contrast created by satin finish in the outer registers, while the centers are semi-reflective with strong die polish.
