1893/2 Barber Dime, MS64
Original Patina
1893/2 10C MS64 PCGS. CAC. A horizontal line within the
lower loop of the 3, along with a horizontal die crack near the
bust tip, indicates the rarely encountered overdate. Scattered
areas of toning appear on both sides of this near-Gem and include
shades of orange, red, teal, apple-green, and fuchsia. Other than
the dentils, the coin displays a sharp strike overall. Population:
9 in 64, 13 finer. CAC: 3 in 64, 5 finer (11/23).Ex: Central States Signature (Heritage, 4/2013), lot 1818.(Registry values: P5)
