Description

Premium Gem 1893-O Dime

1893-O 10C MS66 PCGS. Although produced to a larger extent than the next four O-mint issues that each failed to achieve 1 million coins, the 1893-O is nonetheless difficult and elusive in the finer Mint State grades. This piece displays frosty silver-gray surfaces with a few scattered deeper-gray toning flecks visible under a loupe. Nearly mark-free, as expected of the grade. A tiny dotlike planchet indentation appears on Liberty's chin, as made. Population: 5 in 66, 3 finer (4/08).(Registry values: N2998)
