Description

1893-O 10C MS66 PCGS. A conditionally rare Premium Gem example of this early New Orleans Barber dime, showing strong detail for the issue and luminous satin surfaces. Deep amber, gold, and violet toning covers the obverse, lightening toward the centers, while the reverse displays mainly gold and sea-green hues. The coloration is blatantly original. Only a few finer pieces are known. Population: 13 in 66 (1 in 66+), 3 finer (8/20).
