Description

1893-O 10C MS 65 PCGS. From a modest original mintage of 1.7 million coins comes this absolutely gorgeous Gem Barber dime. The 1893-O was not preserved in significant numbers, and most Mint State survivors grade no finer than Choice BU. The obverse displays a golden tinted center within a ring of reddish-russet peripheral toning. The reverse is colored in variegated cobalt-blue and champagne-russet hues that drift toward the border. A fully frosted example with bold striking definition. Population: 4 in 65, 8 finer.
