Semiprooflike Fields
1893-S 10C MS66 PCGS. Ex: Lily Nicole Collection. Another
spectacular coin from the now second-finest PCGS Registry Set of
Barber dimes, this 1893-S displays notably reflective fields that
accentuate the bold, frosty design elements. The coin is largely
untoned, save for a few tiny areas of amber-gold color in the
recesses, and the eye-appeal seems to increase the longer one
studies the surfaces. The 1893-S is a challenging date in Gem
condition, and finer pieces, such as the present coin, are
extremely rare. Population: 7 in 66, 1 finer (10/15).Ex: Lily Nicole Collection / Central States Signature (Heritage, 4/2015), lot 3899.(Registry values: N4719)
