Description

1893-S Dime, Impressive Gem Preservation

1893-S 10C MS 65 PCGS. This is a spectacular coin for this otherwise poorly preserved issue. The luster is as fresh as it was in 1893 and there are no grade-limiting bagmarks. Competing swirls of lilac-gray and charcoal-blue toning overlay the obverse, but the reverse is brilliant with the exception of streaky charcoal overtones. Population: 5 in 65, only 1 finer (4/00).
