Description

Gem Key-Date 1895-O Barber Dime

1895-O 10C MS65 PCGS. The 1895-O Barber dime had a low mintage of 440,000 coins, and only a small number have survived in Uncirculated condition. This impressive Gem example combines seemingly unimprovable eye appeal with a high degree of technical merit. Most of the design elements are crisply defined by a sharp striking impression, although some of the lower left wreath leaves are weak. Rich copper-tan and lilac toning emerges near the peripheries. Well preserved and nearly blemish-free on both sides. A conditionally scarce offering of this key date in the Barber dime series. Population: 9 in 65, 2 finer (4/09).
