Highly Pleasing 1895-S Gem Dime
1895-S 10C MS65 NGC. As indicated by inspection of NGC/PCGS population data, Gem 1895-S dimes are difficult to locate. Indeed, the two services have graded only eight such coins and four finer. Frosty luster envelops this MS65 example and a sharp strike leaves strong detail on the devices. Silver-gray surfaces are nicely preserved and reveal the slightest hint of light peripheral gold-tan color. Highly pleasing in all respects.
