Description

1895-S 10C MS 64 NGC. Although this issue's mintage of 1,120,000 pieces is the largest among 1895 dated Barber dimes, the 1895-S is an elusive issue that becomes progressively more difficult to locate with grade. One of the finest survivors available to today's specialists, this satiny example is temptingly close to an MS 65 grade. Both sides are predominantly brilliant, yet lightly patinated. Population: 16 in 64, only 3 finer.
