Description
Satiny Toned Gem Mint State 1896-O Barber Dime
1896-O 10C MS65 NGC. Deep blue, green and orange peripheral toning on the obverse, the reverse remains totally white and lustrous. Bold eye appeal and sharply struck for this date. Close study finds little to note, and a great collector piece. In fact, this date is nearly as desirable and difficult to locate as the 1895-O. The NGC and PCGS population reports show 11 examples graded this high with eight specimens graded finer (11/04).(#4810) (Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23DZ, PCGS# 4810, GSID# 4355)
