1896-S 10C MS66 PCGS. A frosty, glowing Premium Gem, this
1896-S dime also boasts sharp design definition and shows warm
cream-gold toning with small areas of deeper amber and russet
color. A single tick above Liberty's eye is the only discernable
surface flaw. The 1896-S is slightly underappreciated in comparison
to its New Orleans counterpart, as both issues have comparable
mintages of 575,056 and 610,000 pieces, respectively, but the
1896-O is the more highly acclaimed issue. Population: 11 in 66 (3
