Description

1897-O Barber Dime, MS67
Registry Grade Specimen

1897-O 10C MS67 PCGS. The 1897-O Barber dime is collectible in most Mint State grades, but go out and try to acquire a Superb Gem example and collectors may have to wait years just for a bidding opportunity. The obverse of this Superb Gem is brilliant save for a few small blobs of russet toning in the right field -- the remnant of an ancient partial print. The center of the reverse is mostly white with peripheral steel blue and golden-brown toning. Both sides have immaculate surfaces and frosty mint luster. Population: 5 in 67 (1 in 67+), 0 finer (3/19).
