1898 Dime, Beautifully Toned MS67
None Finer at PCGS
1898 10C MS67 PCGS. The strike is bold and the preservation
seemingly flawless on this Superb Gem 1898 Barber dime. Vibrant,
frosty luster glistens beneath vivid teal-blue, mint-green,
rose-gold, and amber toning, which forms mildly concentric ribbons
on each side. Tied with four others as the finest at PCGS and
deservingly so (11/15). The 18 in the date is recut at the bases of
the numerals.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23E6, PCGS# 4815, Greysheet# 4327)
