Description
1898-O MS 64 NGC. A rare date in mint state, considered an R.6 issue in all grades of uncirculated, and one of the major strike rarities in the series. This piece is sharply struck and both sides show magnificent tonal qualities. However, each side shows grade-limiting roller marks that are only mildly distracting as they are parallel to each other and quite shallow. Population: 7 in 64, only 7 finer (4/98).
