Eliasberg Gem 1898-O Dime
1898-O MS 66 NGC. Ex: Eliasberg. A rare date in mint state, considered an R.6 issue in uncirculated, and one of the major strike rarities in the series. This piece is among the best struck of this date with complete LIBERTY showing on the headband (many show no letters), and localized softness noted on the lower left portion of the wreath. Pure white in the centers, with light golden, and steel-blue toning around the periphery. An outstanding example of this scarce condition rarity.
