Description
Frosted MS 65 1899-S Dime
1899-S MS 65 NGC. The description from the 1994 Superior auction reads in part: "Much, much scarcer in this grade than its Philadelphia Mint counterpart. Frosty mint freshness consists of a blend of white luster and golden brown tone. For the record, we note some light mint-caused die lines across the lower portion of the bust." An absolutely splendid coin.Ex: U.S. Coin Auction (Superior, 5/94), lot 540.
