Description
Conditionally Challenging 1900-S Dime, MS66
1900-S 10C MS66 PCGS. While not a low-mintage issue, with 5.1 million pieces produced, the 1900-S is the last of the three dates shipped in quantity to the Philippines. High grade examples such as this one are challenging to locate, with only six pieces certified in MS66 and one finer at PCGS (4/09). The streaky, multicolored toning seen over each side cannot subdue the bright underlying mint frost, a characteristic of almost all San Francisco coins. Fully struck. From The Mark Miller Registry Set of Barber Dimes.(Registry values: N2998)
