Toned Gem 1902-O Dime--Tied For Finest Certified
1902-O MS 65 NGC. The '02-O is a very scarce issue that is much more difficult than its mintage of 4.5 million would suggest. It is elusive in all mint state grades and especially challenging in gem condition with only three other pieces having been so graded by NGC and none finer (8/95). The surfaces are bright and satiny, as usual, with deep, mottled gray and blue toning over each side.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23EK, PCGS# 4828, GSID# 4367)
