Description

Pleasing 1903-O Barber Dime

1903-O 10C MS 65 PCGS. With an original mintage of more than 8 million coins, the 1903-O dime does not seem like the kind of issue that would be scarce in any grade. Nevertheless, the present survivor is in select company at the Gem level. The surfaces are frosty and smooth beneath delicate lilac-gray iridescence. Boldly struck with razor sharp definition. Both major grading services report eight coins in MS 65 with a lone MS 66 PCGS specimen finer (2/00).
