Description
1903-S Barber Dime, MS64+
CAC-Approved and Supremely Lustrous
1903-S 10C MS64+ PCGS. CAC. Intense silver color is unbroken
save for some faint hints of russet-brown. Cartwheel luster is
explosive in its brilliance, and covers well-struck devices and
smooth fields. The 1903-S is another Barber dime issue that saw
significant circulation, with the most common grade being G-4.
Combined with its overall scarcity, this issue is still within the
top dozen scarcest varieties in this grade, as well as in higher
states of preservation, according to David Lawrence.Ex: Larry H. Miller Collection (Stack's Bowers, 12/2020), lot 1254; June Auction (Stack's Bowers, 6/2021), lot 1438.(Registry values: N2998)
