Description

1904-S Barber Dime, MS66
Deeply Toned, Luminous Surfaces

1904-S 10C MS66 PCGS. Ex: Lily Nicole Collection. The fields and peripheries of this vividly toned Premium Gem have speckles of purple and electric-blue patina, while the central devices show just light champagne color. A well-struck representative with bright, satiny luster and pleasing surface preservation. Only 800,000 dimes were produced at the San Francisco Mint in 1904, and survivors are difficult to obtain in high grades. Population: 9 in 66 (2 in 66+), 1 finer (2/15).
Ex: Denver Signature (Heritage, 8/2006), lot 942.
