Scarce 1905-O Micro O Barber Dime, MS631905-O 10C Micro O MS63 PCGS. David Lawrence, in his book The Complete Guide to Barber Dimes, speculates that this variety results from an employee using the mintmark punch intended for use on quarter dollars. The Micro O has caught the fancy of Barber enthusiasts and currently enjoys unprecedented demand. This specimen has bright, lustrous surfaces with just a hint of light tan-gold patina. The design elements are sharply struck throughout, with no hints of softness. A few grade-defining marks are noted on Liberty's cheek and neck. Population: 2 in 63, 2 finer (4/09).
