Description

Superb Gem 1905-O Barber Dime

1905-O 10C MS 67 PCGS. Normal Mintmark. Superb appearance with a blast white obverse center framed by fiery reddish-gold splashes. The reverse is a rich russet shade with a deepening of the color toward the edge. The surfaces are immaculate and show full, fiery mint luster. This is the best 1905-O dime we have ever seen and doubt if a finer example exists. As of June 1999, PCGS has graded three 1905-O dimes in MS 67 with none better while NGC has graded two in MS 67 with none better.
From the Ronald W. Brown Acadiana Collection.
