Description

Lovely MS66 1905-S Ten Cent

1905-S 10C MS66 PCGS. Ex: Duckor. After a run of scarce San Francisco Mint Barber dimes, the 1905-S drops substantially in elusiveness and value. This issue ranks 46th for total Mint State population. Despite its rank, only 11 examples certified above MS65 at PCGS suggest that this date is decidedly difficult to locate, and that this Premium Gem should garner an excellent price. A lovely example with silver-gray color and pale blue-green toning over the lower obverse and upper reverse. The surfaces have frosty luster and only a few tiny tick marks. Population: 8 in 66, 3 finer (4/09).
