Description

Beautifully Toned 1906 Dime, MS67

1906 10C MS67 PCGS. The 1906 dime has a large mintage of almost 20 million pieces. Uncirculated coins are relatively easy to locate, but Superb Gem pieces such as this one are rarely encountered. Both PCGS and NGC have only certified nine coins in this grade, and none are finer (4/09). This is a wonderful coin for a type set. The mint luster is strong and surprisingly frosted for a Philadelphia product. Each side also has lovely emerald-green centers surrounded by rose at the margins. The surfaces are remarkably free from abrasions, and the only hint of softness is on Liberty's forecurls.
