Description

1906-D Barber Dime, Colorful MS67
Among the Finest Certified

1906-D 10C MS67 PCGS. CAC. The 1906-D Barber dime represents the first issue of the series for the Denver Mint, which opened in the same year and managed to strike a respectable 4 million-plus examples. The date is not at the forefront of rarities within the series, but it is conditionally rare at the Superb Gem level. In fact, this is one of only three MS67 representatives at PCGS, and there are none finer at either service (2/15). Beautiful gold, aqua-blue, and jade-green patina in the fields complements devices overlaid with pinkish hues. Bold luster emanates through the toning, rounding out the excellent eye appeal. The relief elements are boldly struck, and the surfaces are essentially mark-free. Housed in an old green label holder.
