Description

1906-O Dime, MS67
Boldly Detailed, Lustrous O-Mint Coin

1906-O 10C MS67 NGC. CAC. Frosty and brilliant centers turn to principally amber-gold borders with purple, blue, and green accents. The strike is undeniably strong for the Southern mint, and pleasing luster radiates throughout. These attributes, and the absence of mentionable marks, account for the CAC-approved visual appeal.

Population Data (3/15): There are nine MS67 representatives (one MS67 ★ , two MS67+ ★ ) at NGC, while PCGS shows seven in MS67. A single MS68 NGC example is the only numerically finer coin between the two major services.

Heritage Commentary: David Lawrence's Complete Guide to Barber Dimes (1991) remarks of this issue: "Comes nice for an O-mint, with a decent strike and luster." That is an understatement for this gorgeous Superb Gem.
