Condition Rarity 1906-O Barber Dime
1906-O 10C MS67 NGC. Like virtually all O-mint deliveries in this series, the 1906-O is typically offered in well worn grades. Less discerning collectors can usually locate a BU or Select example with some patience, but Gems are scarce, and those few coins certified finer are legitimately rare. This is one of the most beautiful '06-O Barber Dimes that this cataloger has seen. Rich electric-blue patina overlays most of the obverse and the reverse periphery, the balance of the features are tinted in mottled champagne-apricot color. Satiny and pristine with an uncommonly bold strike for a product of the Louisiana branch mint. Population: 7 in 67, only one is finer (8/01).Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23EZ, PCGS# 4840, GSID# 4376)
Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
Weight: 2.49 grams
ASW: 0.07205oz
