Description

Exceptional 1907-D Gem Ten Cent

1907-D 10C MS65 NGC. As early D-mint Barber dime issues were not well preserved, it is not surprising that this second-year example represents an important bidding opportunity for the Gem date collector. Lustrous and clean, the surfaces are enhanced by mottled russet-gold, sea-green, and golden-brown rim accents. The striking softness that plagues many branch mint examples is not a factor in this coin's final eye appeal assessment. Census: 12 in 65, 10 finer (2/09).(Registry values: N2998)
