Description

1907-O Dime, Sharply Struck MS67
From the Eric P. Newman Collection

1907-O 10C MS67 PCGS. CAC. Ex: Newman Collection. The 1907-O dime is scarce in the lower Mint State grades and a major rarity in Gem and finer. This Superb Gem is one of just four examples certified by PCGS and NGC. And according to the Heritage Auction Archives, a certified MS67 has made only one auction appearance since the database was initiated in 1993.

Glowing luster exudes from both sides, each of which is bathed in medium-intensity bluish-violet, golden-orange, and crimson toning. The design elements are sharply struck; including the letters in LIBERTY that are often weak. Impeccable preservation is apparent throughout. Population: 2 in 67, 0 finer (4/14).(Registry values: N4719)
