Description

1908-D 10C MS65+ PCGS. CAC. A conditionally scarce Gem with satiny luster and olive-gold toning. The toning lightens over the centers to a grayish hue. Tiny bits of russet appear near the rims beneath a loupe. This piece is well-preserved and appealing. Some minor weakness on portions of the obverse peripheral legends is likely due to a partially clogged die. Population: 14 in 65 (1 in 65+), 21 finer. CAC: 7 in 65, 9 finer (11/16).(Registry values: N1793)
