Description

Satiny Superb Gem 1910 Dime

1910 10C MS67 PCGS. Ex: Duckor. This is one of the most plentiful issues in the series, ranking 67th out of 74 issues for total Mint State population. Superb Gem examples such as this one are seldom seen, however. The current population of nine examples graded by PCGS almost certainly includes some resubmissions, and may even include at least one submission of the coin later certified as MS68. We submit that the real population of MS67 examples is probably only four or five coins. This Superb Gem has satiny silver surfaces beneath lovely gold and pale green toning. The surfaces are virtually perfect in their quality. Even with 10x magnification, we find no identifying characteristics. The devices on both sides are boldly rendered. Population: 9 in 67, 1 finer (4/09).
