Description
1910-S Barber Dime, MS67
Strong Registry Set Candidate
1910-S 10C MS67 PCGS Secure. CAC. Ex: Simpson. The Simpson
Registry Set is the all-time finest at PCGS and included some of
the most beautiful and technically impressive Barber dimes known.
This 1910-S Superb Gem is tied with two others as the finest at
PCGS (11/15). It ranks a full grade point finer than the
conditionally rare Lily Nicole coin -- Central States Signature
(Heritage, 4/2015), lot 3962 -- and is one of two Superb Gems with
CAC endorsement. Bold design elements are aglow in frosty mint
luster and each side is cast in lavender-gold and blue-green
toning. Close study fails to reveal abrasions beneath the luminous
patina and eye appeal is correspondingly high.Selections from The Bob R. Simpson Collection.(Registry values: N4719)
