Description

1911 Dime, MS67
Seemingly Flawless

1911 10C MS67 PCGS. According to Bowers, 1911 saw the Treasury Department purchase silver in bulk for the first time since 1909 in order to strike enough coins to satisfy the great demand for dimes in the East and Midwest. Lightly toned surfaces exhibit daubs of russet and crimson patina as frosty luster rolls over each seemingly flawless side. The portrait and wreath elements are well-impressed. Population: 30 in 67 (4 in 67+), 2 finer (6/16).(Registry values: N2998)
