Description

1911-S 10C MS66 PCGS. Splendid gold and champagne toning are blended to provide exceptional aesthetic appeal. This lovely Gem has underlying frosty silver luster. Well struck, save for some softness in the hair above Liberty's forehead, and on the wheat kernels at the upper reaches of the wreath. Only a few examples of this issue have survived as nice as this, as intimated in the population figures. Population: 43 in 66, 7 finer (10/04).(#4859) (Registry values: N1793)
