Description

1912-D Dime, Frosted MS66+
Rose and Lilac Patina

1912-D 10C MS66+ PCGS. CAC. Ex: Lily Nicole Collection. The 1912-D is a good target for the collector who wishes a mintmarked Barber dime for type purposes. That being said, few examples are available in the better grades of Uncirculated. The softly frosted mint luster is lightly draped on each side with rose and lilac patina. Only mark of note can be seen, an angling abrasion on the neck of Liberty. Population: 20 in 66 (2 in 66+), 1 finer (3/15).
Ex: Chicago Signature (Heritage, 8/2011), lot 3643.
