Description

Remarkably Preserved, Fully Brilliant 1913-S Dime, MS67 PCGS

1913-S 10C MS67 PCGS. A scarcer issue in all grades and, because of its low mintage and ties to the 1913-S Quarter, it is very much in demand by collectors. However, there are more Uncirculated pieces known than one might expect because of the existence of several small hoards. On the obverse, the bright mint luster is faintly overlaid by subtle golden patina, while the reverse retains all of the original mint brilliance. Fully struck throughout, only a single tiny pinscratch is seen under the I and M of DIME in the reverse field. A rock-solid Gem of this scarcer issue. Population: 3 in 67, none finer at either service (11/04).(#4864) (Registry values: N2998)
