Description

Condition Census 1914-D Dime, MS67 NGC

1914-D 10C MS67 NGC. Ex: Eliasberg Collection. Although this issue is easily available in MS62 to MS64 grades, it becomes very scarce as a Gem, and virtually non-existent finer. A needle-sharp strike greets the viewer along with exquisite surface preservation and a thin coating of mottled olive-brown toning on the obverse. The reverse is somewhat lighter with a speckled silver-gray color. A Superb, wonderfully preserved example of the final year of Denver mint production of the Barber design. Presently, both services combined have seen only five examples in MS67, with none finer (11/04).(#4866) (Registry values: N2998)
