1892-O Micro O Half Dollar
Good 4, FS-501
1892-O 50C Micro O, FS-501, Good 4 PCGS. The rare Micro O
1892-O half dollar has a grade distribution pattern similar to the
Barber series as a whole. That is, the variety is usually either
well circulated or Mint State. As of (11/15), PCGS has certified a
total of 58 examples, and half of those are graded between Fair 2
and Good 4. The present caramel-gold and stone-gray representative
has a bold date and motto. The all-important mintmark is nicely
defined. The reverse peripheral legends are readable although faded
near 4 and 11 o'clock.From The George S. Edwards Collection.
