1894 Half Dollar, Sharp MS67
An Important Condition Rarity
The Single Finest at NGC

1894 50C MS67 NGC. The 1894 Barber half dollar, coming from a mintage exceeding 1.1 million pieces, can be located in the lower- to mid-level Uncirculated grades with a degree of searching. Superb Gems such as the present coin, however, are significant condition rarities. Indeed, the current offering is the single finest at NGC. PCGS has graded one MS67 and one MS67+ (5/15). Cobalt-blue, lavender, and orange-gold toning clings to the obverse margin and become more extensive and deeper in hue on the reverse. The design elements are sharply struck throughout. The Barber half specialist will find this to be an outstanding coin.(Registry values: N4719)
