Originally Toned 1894-O Half, MS64
1894-O 50C MS64 PCGS. CAC. As one would expect this New Orleans issue was not extensively saved at the time of issue. Most of the survivors are clustered in the MS62-64 grade range, and pieces that are finer are rarely encountered. This is a deeply and obviously originally toned example that has strong underlying mint luster. The devices are sharply struck for an O-mint half, and there are only the smallest abrasions present.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24LP, PCGS# 6469, GSID# 6582)
