Description

1895-O Fifty Cent, MS64
Seldom Seen Finer

1895-O 50C MS64 PCGS. This highly attractive Choice Mint State half dollar displays creamy white luster. The design elements on each side are sharply defined. Just a few minor abrasions, including faint scratches on Liberty's cheek, keep this from a Gem grade. The 1895-O is quite a scarce date in higher grades, despite a mintage approaching 2 million coins. Few have survived as fine as this piece. Population: 18 in 64, 10 finer (7/13).
