Only One Numerically Finer NGC Example

1895-O 50C MS65+ NGC. This Gem exhibits a degree of contrast between the fields and the devices, adding to the eye appeal of this lustrous example. As was the case with most of the branch-mint coins of the 1890s, the 1895-O Barber half dollar was not heavily saved by collectors and most surviving examples are well-circulated. Census: 9 in 65 (1 in 65+), 1 finer (11/12).(Registry values: N4719)
