1895-S 50C MS65 PCGS. CAC. A little over 1.1 million 1895-S
Barber halves were struck. Today the issue is a series semikey in
all grades, and is especially challenging in the higher Mint State
grades. Soft reddish-brown patina around the margins frames the
silver-gray centers of this sharply struck Gem. The lustrous
surfaces are minimally marked. The CAC sticker affirms the coin's
strong eye appeal. Population: 10 in 65 (1 in 65+), 5 finer
