Description

1900 Barber Half Dollar, MS66
Visually Appealing Condition Rarity

1900 50C MS66 NGC. CAC. A high-end type collection or Registry Set would be an ideal destination for this impeccable Premium Gem. The Mint struck over 4.7 million half dollars in 1900, and the issue only becomes challenging in this rarified grade. The impression is strong overall with a trace of softness limited to Liberty's headband. The eagle's feathers, talons, and arrow fletchings are well-defined. Orange and pale-blue color paint the obverse, while the reverse shows darker blue and green toning. Frosty and well-preserved. Census: 7 in 66, 1 finer (3/15).
